Update: Recording of the workshop is available here.
EPEEC will hold the 1st Workshop on Heterogeneous Memory Systems (HMEM) on Thursday 29 June 2020. This event is collocated with ICS 2020 and will take place online.
The HMEM workshop will serve as a forum to present and discuss ongoing research around heterogeneous memory systems, including topics such as architectural considerations, middleware, programming models, runtime systems, tools, operating system developments, use cases and early experiences.
We are thrilled to announce invited talks by:
- João Pedro Barreto, Técnico Lisboa: “Seamlessly embracing memory heterogeneity in HPC”
- Michal Biesek, Intel: “Libmemkind - Heap Manager for heterogeneous memory architectures”
- Tim Dykes, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE): “Abstractions for Data Management in Heterogeneous Systems”
- Marc Jordà, Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC): “An Ecosystem of Tools for Broad Heterogeneous Memory Usage”
The programme will also include contributed talks, and abstract submissions are welcome in this EasyChair link until 29 May 2020 AOE. There will be no formal papers or proceedings, but extended abstracts (PDF) can be uploaded for publication in the workshop website in case of acceptance.
Antonio J. Peña (BSC) and Harald Servat (Intel) are General Chairs of the workshop, and the Steering Committee is formed by Marie-Christine Sawley (Intel), Jesus Labarta (BSC) and Eduard Ayguadé (BSC).
