The third EPEEC face-to-face meeting took place virtually on 20-21 April 2020. Partners from all over Europe provided updates on the work undertook in the last 6 months and discussed how to respond to the new challenges posed by the project.
In order to define a roadmap for the forthcoming months, the agenda included a breakout session for each of the five applications exploited by EPEEC (AVBP, DIOGENeS, OSIRIS, QUANTUM ESPRESSO and SMURFF).
'I am very happy with the progress made to date and I think the meeting was extremely useful. I really appreciate all partners being proactive and willing to keep up with the good work done on the project so far', said Antonio Peña (BSC), coordinator of the EPEEC project.
This meeting was planned to be hosted by Inria in their premises at Sophia Antipolis (France), but was converted into an online meeting due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The next EPEEC face-to-face meeting is tentatively scheduled for early September 2020.
