The EPEEC consortium gathers to face the final stage of the project

On 27-28 October, the EPEEC consortium met virtually once more to exchange and evaluate the latest work carried out in the last six months of the project. All partners assisted: Fraunhofer, INESC-ID, INRIA, Appentra, CINECA, IMEC, Uppsala University, EtaScale and CERFACS and Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).

During two days, the different teams updated one another on the project’s management, communication, and exploitation activities. Also, they shared the latest information about the most technical ongoing work, and set up the next steps for the final phase of the project. These focused mainly on the final software release, the user’s guide for application developers and the final reports of each party.

On the first day, the coordinator of the project, Antonio J. Peña (BSC), introduced the main objectives of the project and summarized the project’s progress. Later, followed the updates on the dissemination and exploitation areas. On the second day, the discussions were mainly focused on the application and co-design status, where all partners contributed.

All in all, the meeting was very productive and served to align strategies and to prepare the last details for the final evaluation that will take effect by the end of March 2022.
